about 3 years ago a friend and i got talking about our youth and realised we both used to love walking and had missed it. i progressed from walks up the river in settle to my first peak – ingleborough, -50c and thick fog, and i loved it! the challenge, the sense of success stood on the top, even if you could not see 20ft in front of you!.
