Previewing: The Book of Lilith Website
Lilith was supposedly Adam's first wife, and is a sort of proto-feminist associated with Inanna, a goddess of Sumeria. This is a fictionalization of the myth, and somehow manages to be an adventure story, a very funny satire, a piece of serious feminist literature, and a work of philosophy all at the same time. Lots of other Lilith-related links on this site, as well.

Fun, interesting, maybe even useful, even if you decide that the book featured there is not for you. A good source for links on the Lilith legend. | |
