Educating the Black MindW.E.B. DuBois said, "Education is that whole system of human training within and without the school house walls, which molds and develops men. " He also said, "The problem of the twentieth century is the problem of the color line." For generations, African Americans were considered inferior, especially in the arena of academics. Although such sayings such as "black power" and "I'm black and I'm proud" keep the African Community moving on, it is the education of black minds that is most pertinent to the prosperity of the community.
